WHO I WORK WITH

Life Coach | Midlife Transitions | Coching Therapy

Great Humans

Great  human beings who want to take care of their lives and themselves.

People who recognise that this is a significant time in their lives. Important enough to get some help working through the areas where they want a better outcome.

To bridge the gap between where they are and what they want.

Here are some typical situations.

FIVE CLIENT SNAPSHOTS

Separated but Still Attached.

The relationship ended months ago. Maybe years.

But you're still attached. Ruminating. Resentful.

Going over what happened, what they did, what they took.

Everyone thinks you should have moved on by now.

And you're wondering why you haven't.

D.I.V.O.R.C.E.

You know the relationship is over. Perhaps you've known for years.

But who's going to say it?

The kids. The house. The history.

It's not that bad. It's just not that good.

And you're counting the years you might have left.

Mullet.

Professionally successful. Capable. Respected.

You've built a career, a business, a reputation.

But your life feels like a mullet.

Business up the front. A mess out the back.

Something Missing.

Everyone assumes it's kids.

You've built a great life. Friendships, relationships, work.

And although there's a feeling that something is missing, you know it's not children.

So how do you build the next phase of your life in a world that models family life around children and grandchildren?

What's My Point?

Living on autopilot.

Doing what you've always done. Liking what you've always liked.

Being who you've always been.

It's not just hormonal anger. You really are questioning everything.

Even the small things.

Do I like my friends.

My husband?

Why do I dress like this?

Do I even like eggs for breakfast?

Everything's up for grabs.

Look at the life I've built.

Who am I now? What do I want?

And what is my actual point?

HOW I HELP

My style is direct, truthful and kind. Sometimes with a little tough love. Often with a laugh.

Coaching Therapy is a hybrid approach I've developed over almost a decade of private coaching and consultation work.

We start with the present. The situation that made you pick up the phone.

We establish where you're at and tease out what you want.

If you don't know, we'll work it out. If you do, we'll test it.

Sometimes our expectations of the future are tethered to the past.

No navel-gazing, but unpacking old beliefs, fears and conditioning can do a lot of heavy lifting.

Clearing up the past can lift the lid on what we believe is possible for the future.

More freedom. More opportunity. More room for self-expression, connection and love.

Deeply liberating midlife work.

Working together as a team of two.

MAREE WHITE | LIFE COACH |  MIDLIFE TRANSITIONS

I acknowledge and honour the Wadawurrung People and the Guilijan and Gadubanud Peoples of the Eastern Maar, the traditional custodians of the land we now call the Surf Coast Shire.

I deeply appreciate the unique spiritual and material connection that the first peoples have with the land and water, encompassing the trees, rocks, hills, valleys, creeks, rivers, and the ocean of the Surf Coast and hinterland.
