Who will you be for yourself in 2020? Who do you want to become? What is the goal you want to create? And who will you need to become to have it?
Goals are the most wonderful tool for our brain. Goals create the structure and direction the brain needs to behave. Goals also keep the brain future-focused rather than past focused where it will go without supervision. And most importantly goals help us create an intentional and deliberate life.
Having a weight loss goal is the most exhilarating ways to learn the process of goal creation and goal achievement. Because you met you, head-on.
Weight loss goals teach us resilience. Because you have to have lots of fails along the way to find your blocks. And when you can fail and fail again. And fail again. You are on the path to winning. Because the person you become when you step through your quitting cycle. Is the women that can lose her weight. That's how it works.
You really can have anything you want. That's what I love about coaching. It's recognising the only thing that is stopping you is your own thinking. It has nothing to do with how you were bought up, your body type or what your mother fed you. It's just the way you think.
And this Lovely, is such a relief. Learning your mind is fascinating, learning to change is liberating. Understanding your success, what creates it and what stops it, is the roadmap home.
